I do remember hearing that the mass killings in Rwanda several years ago had a similar army of children that were involved in many of the atrocities. They were the orphaned children of parents who died, many died of aids. Rebel armies offered them food, clothing and shelter, trained them as soldiers, and used them to kill. I’m so glad your church is helping in Uganda and spreading the word about this tragedy.
