Zero Score and One Year Ago

…the P.I blog was born.

Thanks to all who have subscribed, written a comment, or just stopped by.  It has been an interesting and fun year doing this experiment.

The plan was to write at least a post a day.  By God’s grace, I’ve (mostly) kept up with that ambition.

Enough with the sentimentality!  The posting schedule is going to change for the second year.  Expect a post Sunday through Thursday nights, but nothing Friday and Saturday.  Posting once a day has led me to neglecting some more important duties in my life, so something’s gotta give.

On a similar note, quite a few people have asked me why I’m not commenting on my blog and their blog anymore.  Unfortunately, I think some have taken offense at that.  No offense meant: I’m teaching three different English courses (each with high paper loads), a head wrestling coach, in grad school, and in a teacher induction program, so it’s difficult to keep up with the comments in blogs.  If I’m really itching to comment on something, usually I’ll just make it a post (that way I kill two birds in one stone), so don’t take my reluctance to engage personally.  I encourage you to continue to engage with one another.

Over 51,000 hits in the first year.  I was hoping for more, but all the same–not bad!
