Indeed the old saying is true. We tend to raise our voice when we should be reinforcing our arguement. A majority of folks; in the midst of an intense dialogue where ideologies are clashing, tend to resort to the baser elements of shouting and even insults. It’s so much easier than contending.

As christians, we should always contend for the faith of Jesus; lovingly and respectfully. The Holy Spirit will work on the hearts of others if we will just be faithful ambassadors.
