Abortion is an important topic, but I’d hesitate to say that the soul of our nation hangs on a single issue. If there was one single issue at stake, it would be the supremacy of Christ Jesus as Lord. Without that, everything else falls apart.
Thank you for bringing that piece of information about abortion to me today.
Much prayer is needed about this particular issue and where The United States is going with it.

Thanks for adding your comment. The thing is that you really can’t separate the two. Following Jesus as Lord necessitates that we take care of the least of these. If someone (or a culture, church, what have you) claims the former but neglects the latter, yes, they do not hold Christ supreme and their soul(s) hang in the balance.
Anytime a culture systematically disparages and slaughters a class of human beings (slavery, anyone?), it’s safe to say their souls are being twisted terribly.
