Like, You Know

Supposedly, the Washington Post had a competition between teachers to see who could submit the worst analogies they’d encountered in reading student essays and papers.

Those who submitted produced some whoppers.  Read them here for a good laugh.

They remind me of this Taylor Mali poem:

But, you know, like, I’m not trying to judge or anything…you know? I’m just sayin that, like, I wouldn’t do this and stuff, but who am I to say?

  1. That is such a fun poem! Thanks for sharing it. I’m thinking Random Act of Poetry…

  2. Those analogies are so funny that I laughed until my side hurts like it does after you’ve just had surgery by a doctor who’s not really a doctor, he’s just pretending like that guy in ‘Catch me, if you can’

  3. You are hilarious, bro!
