As if it hadn’t reached inredulity already, the criticizing of Sarah Palin for miniscule things continues.
Doing an interview with that stuff going on in the background *is* kinda weird (Even though they had no problem with it, Palin and the TV crew should have been more aware of how it would look and that it would open them to criticism…wise to avoid it when you can.), but folks need not get their panties in a scruff about it.
See for yourself:

Everyone was aware of what was “going on” in the background. The interviewers asked Gov. Palin if she was OK with it and she said there was no problem – and why should there be?
It’s IS stupid for people to rant about it though – except for the vegans I guess.

Thanks for noting the additional details.

It shows poor judgment. And she is now lying about it. So it also reinforces that she is a liar.

Go Sarah!

Girl.d,
I agree that it wasn’t the smartest thing to do…it opened her to criticism that could be avoided. However, my point is that certain people get in such a tizzy over small things with her. Methinks they protest too much.
So turkeys are being killed…big deal.

A portion of the whiners are in a tizzy because they hate the idea of seeing or knowing where their food comes from. I think most of the whiners are in in a tizzy though just because it was something – anything – that Gov. Palin did. The Left hates and fears Palin. That’s all the reason I need to like her.

Hi Rich,
The “thing” about Sarah Palin is that just about everything she does opens her to criticism. Just being in the public eye opens one to criticism.
That’s the “thing”.

Girl.d,
I agree with what John says. Really, the overwhelming majority of the people who are criticizing her belong in a very narrow group. She’s incredibly normal; the average American finds absolutely no problem with her. For most Americans who don’t have an axe to grind, we look at that and go “what’s the big deal?”
It’s not that everything she does opens her to legit criticism…its that the left, who can’t conceive of any woman that doesn’t tow the party line (on abortion, just to pick one example), twists everything into a criticism, a “whatever-gate” (troopergate, turkeygate, wearingwhiteafterlabordaygate).
Just think; folks in this group criticized her for *wearing white*–it was supposedly racist. This should be a red flag to anyone that perhaps they aren’t the most neutral.
