Michelle Malkin is keeping track of the anti-Proposition 8 protests this weekend.
Of course, boycotts are no big deal. Even the fact that they are protesting is not controversial per se. Human kind has been protesting, for better or worse, ever since we could say “ug!”
But this just goes way, way overboard.
I’m not going to go as far as some people and call it “terrorism,” but it’s just flat out extreme. I really, really, really hope the public at large is paying attention and that they see this collective temper-tantrum for what it is.
I’m not holding my breath, though. We are far too easily bullied and placated with empty rhetoric.

Rich,
I’m following this protest all over the news. How will we as the church respond to this anger and response from the homosexual community. What an opportunity to seize the day, love the gay community, bring truth, and ultimately lead them to hope in Jesus.
I don’t hear much on the YES for 8 side sayiing anything, so it seems like apathy on our side. I pray God pours out his love and extinguishes the hatred from the gay community.
Jesus is Lord of all.
Love ya bro,
Ken

Hi Ken,
Thanks for visiting
I’ve heard lots from traditional marriage supporters, especially on the blogosphere. I don’t know why the news isn’t reporting the response much…perhaps bias, who knows.

Do you really believe that people will see this as a temper tantrum?? I hope they will not intimidate people with their whole agenda of comparing this to the civil right movement.
